Heart In A Jar

Heart In A Jar

It hurts to type, because I cut my finger open carving this, but I really wanted to share it, because I’m so proud. However, I will never carve on a hard block again. I much prefer the soft blocks.

It took hours to carve between last night and cutting my finger open and coming out to the studio to finish it this morning.

I’m doing a limited run of only 14 prints. You can get yours here. But be sure to check out everything else that is available while you’re there, I don’t always update when I list new things.

I’ll be using the sales of this print to plan and execute miniature prints just like these so that I can do a fun surprise print listing in my shop. I want to carve a few of my favorite things–probably about five or so–as 3.5″ by 5″ prints and when you order them you won’t get to choose what you get, but I WILL try to not send two of the same thing in each order.

Anyway, that’s my update for today. I wish you safe keeping for your heart.
