We’re Back!

And by “we” I mean me. I’m back from my vacation from selling art. However, I did not take a break from making art. Some art was made. And some art reproductions were made. So there is more in my shops now than there was when they closed.

But that’s not all the updates I have, so if you just want to see new paintings scroll down.

New Prints

There are a few new prints in the shop. Some stuff that hasn’t been available before due to formatting or photographing issues. You can find all of these prints in my shopify. (Or click on the images below and they’ll take you straight to the listing.)

New Stickers

Just three new stickers this time. Not a lot, but some people expressed disappointment when I scrapped the painting that became the first sticker below… and that’s why I made it a sticker. So people could still have it if they wanted it. (click on the images to go straight to the listing.)

New Paintings

I did paint a few new things during my selling hiatus. I had literally never painted a bunny with oil paint before. So this first painting was a challenge. It’s going to get it’s own post, but I wanted to include it in the update along with these miniature (3″ by 3″) paintings.

I’m not sure what my plans are for these paintings, yet. Especially the small ones. I have a few ideas that I’m tossing around, some paintings that are personal and just for me, like the bunny. But some other paintings that are going to be available to the general public will be interspersed.

Oh! I Almost Forgot!

Speaking of paintings that are available to the general masses… These paintings are now in the shop:

In other news…

I have a portable paint and canvas set that I cobbled together and now I can continue painting even when it’s too hot to go out to the studio. I used it to make those miniature paintings from bed last week when I wasn’t feeling well.

I plan on taking an actual *leave the house painting* sabbatical. Not like a sabbatical from painting, but more of a sabbatical FOR painting. I’m going to bring a bunch of supplies with me and go somewhere for a couple of weeks and just paint and read and stay offline. I have to budget and plan, but I’m hoping sometime in mid-to-late Autumn. But since it’s a planned thing, people will know when I delete my socials this time.

I think that’s all I’ve got for this Monday. Though, I hope to fit in a few “about this painting” type posts in sometime. See you next week!
